Is there a judgment already filed against you? It would show on your credit report. If not, go to my website:

http://community-2.webtv.net/Y-chat/WhyChatsCredit/

Click on Letter to Ca Re; SOL, fill it out with the correct date you have a record of last paying the OC, or the last charge you made on the account. Click on "Virginia" on my site and you will get the statutes. Print everything up, 3 copies, one for the judge, one for the slimeball W&A lawyers, and one for your records.Make 3 copies of your credit reports showing the last date of activity on the account. Block out the other information on your report, other than date of report and your personal info.
If you have ANY other bills or receipts showing the LAST time you paid CITIBANK, bring copies of that also. The SOL in Va. for credit cards is 3 years. Tell the judge the suit is time-barred gve him copies of the letter and other material, give copies to W&A. request a complete dismissal with prejuidice, reserving your right to counter sue for violations of the FDCPA and the Va. consumer protection laws.In addition state your willingness to cooerate with the court as a witness against W&A for any applicable infraction or abuse of the court that the judge feels is appropriate.
