Cal. has a 10 year limit on judgments (renewable) IF somehow, within the next 2 years they found your correct new name and address,and IF Sears STILL owned the account, (which is HIGHLY unlikely) then they MIGHT be able to enter the judgment against you in Conn.They would need to have ALL the original information for their refiling, including your correct name,address and ss#. I d not think you are in much risk, (stay away from any app. for a Sears account though for at least 2 more years)By the way, all the derog info onthis should have dropped off your credit reports a year ago.
