Hi, Thanks for your reply. I belive the dateof my first delinquency was May 2000. Prior to getting the letter from Surpas I had been contacted by 2-3 other collection agencies. I basicallyignored them all (i know the wrong thing to do). The only reason I called back Surpas is because the gentleman who called actually sounded friendly and I had just come into some money so i was in a position to make a deal. The only documention of my payment would be my bank statement for that period and my checkbook. So does the 30 days that Cavalry is giving me to respond not matter then if I dont write them in time (aug 4th)? They say they will assume the debt is valid if i dont. Oh and I did not use my old address for the app. In fact when i got the letter back from household (best buy) they had my name all wrong. Jesse
