Can I just copy and use one of your sample validation letters?

I live in NC. The debts were incurred in CA.

I cannot understand why Citibank refuses to talk to me! I paid the full amount on the last bill I received from Citibank, exactly as they asked. How can I know if Collectcorp is just making up extra charges out of thin air? If Citibank won't confirm ANYTHING to me now, then it seems like Collectcorp could invent any number they want.

I'm still really upset that collectcorp harassed me on the phone and said that if I didn't give them my checking account number, then that was proof that I was a deadbeat and they would "escalate" the matter. When I was speaking with Collectcorp on the phone I was just so fed up that I told them I would mail a cashiers check or money order, even though I couldn't confirm the debt with Citibank, but they REFUSED! They said that was unacceptable! They said the *only* way to avoid further "unspoken" action was for me to give them my checking account number THAT VERY MINUTE.

I get the impression these guys are going to try and get a judgement against me early monday morning, just to make sure I have no time to send a dispute/validation letter.

BTW- they called about 20 times over two day period last thursday and friday, while I was out of town. Left about 6 messages, and hung up the rest of the times.

Are these jokers really that hard up for $1000 dollars??
