If your billing records show you as being past due with late notices added on every month and interest charged on balances from a closed account, I think you have a pretty good chance of getting the whole ting wiped out and possibly getting a refund. The account # thing may or may not be a factor, generally cra's leave off the last 4-5 #'s and some cc companies either mask or encode their #'s for privacy. I think you need to look very carefully at your monthly statements, you ARE still getting monthly statements? What does the Experian report show as the date these accounts will no longer be on your record?
