This is when you sue them. That's the reason for all the mail receipts, paper trail. If they do not comply with the law, you can sue.

Go apply for some credit so a potential creditor sees yur report (That's a requirement too) and maybe you will even be able to show real damages, if there is nothing else on your reports but these.

If you don't like the thought of going to court, relax, it hardly ever reaches that stage. They get a demand letter, ignore it. BUT - they get served, they call and apologize and delete for good.
