I am not an expert, and I can only give you advice from my own experience. If the new loan company agreed to REMOVE or delete the accounts, then you may be okay. If they only agree to update the accounts as "Paid", then that isn't a good thing. This is only my two cents, but there are some very intelligent consumers on the board (Why Chat, Linda...) so they may be able to better assist.
