OK- here is some more "head swimming" The date of last activity shown on your credit reports has NOTHING to do with the DOLA for start of SOL in those States that use it. But, in any case Cal. is a"Cause Of Action" or some people call it a "Right of Action" State for the start of SOL. This is the date when you were FIRST in breach of your contract agreement, that is it is the FIRST 30 day late notice, or past due notice. Technically speaking, since you were in default , the creditor had a "Right or Cause of Action" that is, they could first file suit against you legally then.
