Ok...what is my next step?

A scumbag CA (First Resolution), has been trying to collect from me....threatening legal action, etc, on what I can only figure is the balance of a settlement I made with the OC. I am in Michigan, and the charge off was 3/98. My first late was sometime in '97. I sent a validation/cease and desist letter, and they sent back some homemade thing that has nothing about me, no account numbers, signatures, etc. Basically proof of nothing! I have now sent a certified rrr letter saying they have not provided satisfactory validation, and that they are in violation of the FDCPA, and to remove the entry from my credit report or I will take legal action. I also sent the SOL letter WhyChat told me to...no response. If they fail to validate again, as I am certain they can't, what is the next step? I want these goons to go away. They have already violated the cease and desist and continue to call, so I don't think they will go away too easily. Thanks in advance for the help!!
