I have had a similar problem with AOL. I used free minutes to check out AOL and decided to go with Juno instead. When the minutes were used up they charged my checking account! I immediately called AOL billing and explained and they forwarded me to cancellation. It has now been over a week and I am on hold for long periods of time and all I want to do is cancel and get a refund. I think they do not answer in the cancellation dept so you won't cancel. I have instant messenger also but I have never been charged for that. Have you gone to the AOL website and signed in? If you can still sign in your account is still active.
