What State are you in? Although the FDCPA applies to personal, not business use, many States DO have protection for you. In addition, there may be violations of the TILA and other laws. You ARE protected to some extent under the FDCPA if you can show any fraudulent use of your identity. If you do write them, be sure to print or type, do not sign your name.
