I need some advise fast. I had a corporate credit card for travel with my company. My company put the breaks on alot of spending last year, and one of the items affected was my expense report checks. The card was with Diner's Club, and they charged off the account after a few months because they don't want you to carry a balance. I was unable to pay the full amount on the card, and besides it was the company's expenses. Anyway, now the card has been charged off, and I tried to pay the card off as soon as I could. The account ended up on my credit report. I disputed the account, and it appears that the account has now been sold to NCO. I have a call on my answering machine telling me that since I was in "Direct refusal to cooperate, and they would report this information." This was the first call that I have received where someone identified themselves and the nature of there business. He also stated that I had 24 hours for my lawyer or myself to contact them. How do I respond?
