There are 5 accounts on my credit that have last date of activity between 6/97 - 10/97. I live in FL. I have contacted the original creditors, the CA, and the CRA. The CRA say account verified (BS), the CA send a bill or nothing at all. I know the SOL has expired but I want to buy a house and these balances are really hurting my chances. I was thinking of offering the CA some $ in order to clear my credit. I wanted to include in the letter that the sol has expired, that this is not a renewed promise to pay but a one time offer, and that I still dispute the accts. Is this going to start the SOL over again?
