What I meant was, the letter states "this agency will update the account as paid in full with the proper consumer reporting agencies."

What they didn't do however is follow through on that (so I thought). I believe it took a letter AND a phone call the get action done. Then yesterday I was told by a supervisor at Arrow that the checks they receive (mine included) took 6 weeks(?!) to clear and therefore they were within the wording of their letter (or so I was told).

I am trying to determine if she was being truthful or not so I may follow up. Also she stated that a paid collection on CR's is not harmful and "1000's of people have collection listings on their credit reports."
