Personally, I really don't think you have much. You are going to need to prove you have been damaged. I tell ya, no matter how the collection was listed on your report prior to the settlement, a listing of paid/settled or, paid in collection was not an improvement. In other words, your situation credit wise is no different now than prior to payment.
