Why Chat I was reading a response that you made to a ? on 5/19/2002 "RE:Statute of Limitations, choice of law" in there was that MI was a state that ruled "in favor" of the consumer. I have looked and looked but can't find the anwswer to: Lived in MI, where everything was signed moved to SC 4/97, had phone bill C/O 12/96, cell phone C/O, mobile home repo 5/97 DLOA 3/97 (4 yr UCC? SOL), lastly volentary auto lease repo 12/97 last payment made 10/97 lease had 5 months left wife made partial payments to law office (no judgement) from 04/99 thru 03/00. Question: if I were sued would MI 6 yr written SOL apply, SC 3 yr or if sued under MI would the "in favor" be applicable and be 3 yr anyway. No judgements of any kind have come from these. Thanks greatly for any and all input.
