Letter from CA

Got a letter from CA about a charge-off from 1992 while I was in PA. This credit card account fell off the credit report after 7 years.

The letter says, “This is letter is to notify you that your Citibank account formerly held by CA#1 has been purchased by CA#2….. If you notify this office in writing within 30 days, this office will obtain verification of the debt or judgment against you and mail you a copy.”

I know the SOL is long gone. I am inclined to write a Cease & Desist with RR and advise them of SOL.

Is there anything I can say beyond that to make them not sell the account and then another CA write me again? Do I just have to deal with this little aggravation periodically? Thanks.
