a different judgment question

I know that a judgment will fall off a CR 7 years and that its SOL varies by state. My question is what happens to judgments after they are paid or after the SOL is up? Can someone go to the courthouse and do a judgement search on you after you satisfied them 10, 20, 30 years into the future?
