that's a good question...mine came with an affidavit, which, after careful study, was nothing more than a sworn statement from the lawyer that I owed them this money, and a Virginia court document stating that I had to appear in court, but this firm is available from the internet. Also, attached was a copy of the agreement and terms from Providian, but the account was long closed by the date of this set of rules and regs.
