Yes, you can file bk after the hearing. As to the car question. That just depends on state law. More than likely, they want job and salary information, bank or brokerage accounts. A little hint. They can make you empty your wallet and take any jewelry or watches, etc. You really should have filed bk before the lawsuit came to trial.
