Joint accounts are tougher but, evetually they can. A lot depends on the source of funds. Things like ss checks, pensions, disability checks are exempt from seizure. If any of this applies to you, take that proof tomorrow. I would suggest you start calling a lawyer right now about a bk filing. A lawyer can arranage an emergency filing over the phone in just a few minutes. I'd try andfind a lawyer now or, before the hearing tomorrow. A bk filing comes with an automatic stay from all collection activity.
