I wouldn't take any chances. If the SOL on that account is up, why would you take ANY chances by making any promise to pay? You can't trust TMCC or the CA to remove the charge-off from your record. The one thing that WILL happen is that once you make a payment, the "7-year clock" will start over and they will stay on your case like flies on... you know! Like they say, let sleeping dogs lie...
