Hi I'm quite new to this myself. But I believe that if you've been contacted by the creditor who has implied suit. Before it even reaches going to court you should send in a letter to them stating that the SOL has run. There are some links to letters on Why Chats site especially for this. Sorry can't be more helpful. Some of the experience gang like Why Chat, Linda, or Observer have been the most helpful to me...along with all the other great board people.
