You can't post payments or write checks when the money is not yet in the account. Period, it always ends this way, eventually, even if you do it once or twice and nothign happens. That was luck, the reality is the moeny is not there.

Sounds like your income might be SSI. If so, they can't take it, so don't worry about that.
Which card companies are we talking about? Some are better than others.
