Oh jeez, another one of those "scum-of-the-earth" ca's. Well, based on your post, they've already violated the FDCPA twice: by threatening you with legal action and imprisonment. Refusing to give you an address is rather stupid on their part; they cannot force you to pay only by Western Union or telecheck. I have never heard of NCF but since they are in Buffalo, I would consider filing a complaint with the NY state AG's office. My advise in the meantime is to not talk to them on the phone, they will con you into doing something dumb, and use an answering machine to screen your calls.
