I just read that if I am served with court papers to appear, I will have to answer to the complain without giving explanations and just saying yes or no, so that they dont win by a default..I am confused?. I was server with papers, didnt sign nothing, and havent received nothing else. Please can someone explained.

If anyone can help as to what would be the best thing to do base on my situation. What I am suppose to do prior to court and it court. Have anyone been in this situation.
