Simply send back your dispute as "not my account". They need to validate as your debt for it to be on your report. If they cannot, it must be removed. Ballys is tough. I got out of my contract by claiming residence in a place where there wasn't a ballys to workout at. It was a pain and I had to pay $120, but it was worth it. But, if it has gone to collections, you might try writing Ballys and explaining your situation - give them a sob story. Chances are, they hired the CA to collect and have not actually sold it or charged it off yet, so you might have a shot. Ever hear of Planetfeedback.com?
