Same judgement showing twice? Is it legal?

I have a judgement showing that I agreed through an attorney to make payments on. Recently I became able to pay the judgement off in full. Even though the judgement showed up on my credit as the full amount, I have been making payments for the entire amount and it is not the amount showing up in court documents. My question is...Can it legally appear in two seperate counties? I was never served with papers in the second county. I never even knew it was on my credit report until I pulled it myself and I started to try to clear my credit. I understand having the one, but I don't think I should have two, as never had two judgements, only one. Is this legal? I have not moved, I have lived at the same address as I did when the original judgement was filed. What are my rights where this is concerned? Thank you for any help in this matter.
