COULD YOU GUYS CRITIQUE THIS BEFORE I TYPE IT UP AND PUT IT IN THE MAIL TOMORROW....IF YOU SEE ANY CHANGES AT ALL THAT NEED TO BE MADE..PLEASE LET ME KNOW!

This letter is to follow-up on the telephone conversation we had on [date] with regards to account #xxxxxxxxx

I dispute the amount, I am not promising to pay and do not asknowledge that the debt as mine, but I would like it off my credit report. I also do not want it sold to another collection agency and go through this all over again. However, if found this debt is indeed mine I am proposing a settlement of 50 percent of the total amount as payment in full for this debt to your company(LINDA OR SOMEONE IS THAT SENTENCE INCRIMIDATING?). Fifty percent of $6500.00 is $3750.00, which I am requesting be paid back to you in the form of payment in the amount of $3750.00 within 45 days of my receiving the signed agreement from you. This is the amount of time it would take me to receive the borrowed money for this transaction.

Please contact me as soon as possible and advise me whether or not this settlement is agreeable to you. I want to do everything I can to avoid filing bankruptcy and am hoping I can work out some sort of settlement with you if this is validated as my debt. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Sincerely
xxxx

THE AGREEMENT TO BE SIGNED AND RETURNED WILL INCLUDE EVERYTHING SUCH AS THE NO RESALING.

YOU AGREE TO THE TERMS OF 50% SETTLEMENT TO BE REPAID WITHIN 45 DAYS OF MY RECEIVING THE SIGNED AGREEMENT.
