Cassidy,

You are not obligated to explain anything to the CA. It's your right, by law, to dictate how, when and under what terms the CA may communicate with you about the debt. All of this information about the newborn and irritated neighbors is unnecessary and indicates that you are uncomfortable asserting your rights. I think you can shorten that paragraph to:

"All further communication about this matter, or any other matter, should be conducted solely by mail and only at the address shown above."

Based on my understanding of the law, the CA is only allowed to contact other people to *locate* you. Once you've been located, they should only contact you in the manner and on the terms that you have specified.

I also think you should refrain from giving them any information that is not absolutely necessary to settle the matter. How you intend to get the money is none of their business.
