I went back on all your posts and I fail to understand WHAT in the world you are doing!!
You have a CA illegally collecting on an account that is beyond SOL(so you have no risk of lawsuit)That you haven't disputed or sent a cease and desist on, and who may have NO right to collect anything at all.You are offering $$$ you can't afford o pay someone who probably has no claim to it ,to get them t stop acting illegally!!
Here is MY "critique" of your letter, and your whole idea.
1- You will be wasting your time and money.
2- You will encourage this CA, and a whole bunch more to climb out from under their rocks and start harrassing you for any and all old debts you may have had.(the "kick-me" sign this letter puts on your backside is an open invitation)
3- You will RUIN any chance you had of clearing your credit as you are PAYING on a debt. That insures it sticking to your credit report like glue.
4- Either you haven't been paying attention to the extensive advice everyone has given you, or you are really a collecton agency troll wasting our time.
