Question for Linda

Hi Linda,

Your response from earlier. This was about my problem with Bally's.

Yes, they can do it that way. Bally's should be reporting as charged off/sold or transferred. Only one CA can report it at a time, though.

There is a class action lawsuit against Bally's and the company that held their paper - do a search on google for bally's lawsuit and see if it comes up in the results.

Linda

My Question is, I am going to write a formal letter to try and settle to remove this debt to PAID AS AGREED. Since there is an entry for both Bally's and the CA for a charge off and collection account, who should i write the letter to? Should I write it to the CA or Bally's? I want both of these instances changed on my credit report. If i send it to the CA will they change both? Also how could this lawsuit benefit me?

Thanks for the help,
Gary
