Given the timing, you are better off disputing it with the CRAs. On repos there are different tme-requirements for collections, so obtaining verification, with correct account information from a ca on a repo is, in my opinion,impossible, unless a properly filed deficiency judgment is on record.Just dispute as invalid information, unknown entry, (don't say "not mine" as all they do is check the tape for a name match) I would try the letter to CRA r fraudulent entry on my website,especially if the CA has not contacted you.
