I work for a company that services federal student loans. If you're referring to a Stafford loan, servicers get regular updates from the schools telling if you are still enrolled at least half-time. If you dropped below half-time or withdrew before the original deferment end, your deferment would be edited to end on the last day you were enrolled at least half-time (and you would receive a letter telling you about the change). There is nothing you can do about your deferment ending, but you should contact your servicer because you could be eligible for a different kind of deferment or forbearance if you're having trouble.
