1- No legal CA will "threaten imprisonment"
2- If you have nothing in writing from the CA with your 30 day right to dispute, their collection activities are illegal.
3- If you successfully disputed 2 years ago, to means that this ca obtained the account from a ca who could not verify to the CRA.
4- Next time they call, request a letter, if they refuse, tell them you are reporting them to the FTC, your State's AG office, and your local law enforcement for illegal threats.
