Well, this is definitely a "learning experience". They don't teach this in school and sometimes we have to learn the hard way. That's why I have been very careful with the decisions I make concerning my situation because it is so easy to screw up. This board has been incredibly helpful and if more consumers understood the law and their rights then the debt collection industry would not be the multi-billion dollar industry that it is.
