#1 would reset your SOL, if you have any recourse there you'd lose it. I don't like that one.

#2 if your husband has more than 50% of the stock in the s-corp then his assets are the corp's assets and if you live in a community prop state your assets can all be combined as well. I don't like that one either.

Have you called a debt negotiator?
