Filing a suit against a CA will get their top lawyer giving you the attention you were previously denied, very quickly. This can either be a bad thing or a good thing. I really recommend studying the FCRA and the FDCPA before going this route.

Also, the FTC are notorious for being pretty dumb. Especially when it comes to the FCRA and the FDCPA. This is another reason to read up.
