Welcome to the world of 2 cycle billing. If you've carried a balance for awhile you'll be surprised at how it adds up. Before you call customer service, look at the back of your statement and it'll explain the entire mess. Never carry a balance on Discover. Also, do a "google search" using two cycle billing as the subject. Several easy to grasp explanations there.
