I do not suggest any action like that at all. A simple letter from a lawyer to the CA's stating that any further collection activities against you, of any type, including threats of legal action, reporting your late wife's debts on your credit report etc. will be grounds for you to file a criminal complaint against them for fraudulent attempted extortion and harrassment.
