Hi, I am a collector for a credit card company. I use this site for my credit health as well. A tenured co-worker told me the other day that when we receive certified return receipt mail we immediately take legal action against the cardmember, no matter what stage of delinquincy. I was just curious about reasons for doing certified return receipt letters and what exactly you all ask for in these letters. I only collect for early stage delinquincies, but am curious about how one goes about removing things from a bureau report.
