CRRR or RRRR mail uses the green card to verify that the mail was received by the organization or individual it's addressed to.

Hopefully the mail is read before suit is filed?

Anyhow, it's proof that whatever was sent got lost AFTER the mail was delivered and not in the mail, as many people on both sides in the credit wars allege occurs.

That is why folks in credit hell use green cards to mail disputes of debt, requests for validation the debt is their own, and notice that SOL has expired.

And that is why CAs do NOT routinely send summons and subpoenas that way when service by mail is permitted. It's easier to contract gutter service, because the easiest way to win is by default, when the person being sued fails to appear.
