This is a land contract of single-family home.Lessor leases to lessee. Prior to closing of the contract,the lessor agrees to have property surveyed. After fulfilling the duration of the contract,the lessee will remain in possession of property and titles will be delivered to lessee from lessor. We have it notorized with everyones signatures on it. We have checked things out at the court house but did not do a title search. There of course is more on the contract than what I have put here, but this is basically the kind of contract it is. They are working on getting it surveyed now! Hope this helps, I still need to know about whether I should just put property in my name when they transfer deed to us. How could that be fraud if we have no intentions on filing bankrupsy? We are in ohio,so Im going to try anf find out more about the law here about whether they(cc companies) can put a lein on our/my property. Please dont get me wrong,I have and will continue to make payments on these cards, its just hard when the minimum payments are so very high on some, due to late,over limit and interest charges that keep mounting. But we are still trying to pay what we can each month.
