I checked the Fl. repo statutes,he is correct, it starts from the date the deficiency (cause of action) occurs. Since the only way that could happen is to know how much it sold for, he is correct.
However, I did not have time to look up what the SOL actually IS for filing a judgment after repo.It is NOT (I believe) the same as for written contracts, as the repo and deficiency are another type of claim completely than your installment sales contract.I will try again to find it,I THINK I remember it as being 2 years, but I am old and try not to rely on my memory too often.
