You do not need a lawyer because if they put it on your credit report then you can sue them. buying an old collection does NOT reage the account and if they are dumb enough to do that then it is lawsuit time. Send them the cease and desist letter, state the sol is up, and remind them the reaging the account is illegal and they will be slapped with a hefty lawsuit if they even try it.
