Thanks for the responses below, I still have some questions. Linda asked me exactly what I needed removed from my credit report. Nothing, I don't believe. I am 19 years old with (what I am hoping) is good credit: $1000 limit Visa, was maxed out and went a little over the credit line ($1100) shortly after I received the card at age 18. I have been late once, by a couple days because I mailed the payment late. They defaulted my interest from 14% to 21.65% ... I have been in good standing since that incident and they have brought my interest back down. $450 limit Sears card... it usually has a small revolving balance but I have never been late or OCL. Dillards Retail card... 0 balance (my fiancee won't let me buy clothes from there anymore, ha ha.) Car Installment Loan, $11500, been paying $276 a month for a year, I imagine the balance is around $9000 or so. I have was also late a couple days because I forgot to mail it in, but they didn't charge a late fee. The due date is on the 8th of each month with a 10-day grace period, so I always pay between the 8th and the 18th. Engagement ring Installment loan, American General: $2500, 0% financing for a year, based on 36 month financing. I am disturbed by my fellow co-workers because they have informed me of the following things, which maybe some of you can verify / dissolve: 1.) Lendors, especially home mortgage lendors, see a different credit bureau report than the Big-3. My Big-3 report says I have 0 delinquincies and everything is fine. However, the co-workers said lendors see a much more detailed report that shows late payments even if the creditor doesn't report you as having a 30-day delinquincy.... such as I reported being only 1-5 days late one or two times since I have been 18... I am close to 20 now. 2.) A friend of mine said her parents filed Chap7 9 or 10 years ago and when they went to purchase a home this year they were questioned about the BK. From what I've read on this site, I told them they shouldn't be affected by all by anything that has happened over 7 years ago. Am I wrong? Isn't that a legality? Sorry for the long post... I am 19 and my finacee and I are constantly worried about our FICOs and what not =) We both work as CC collectors so we are learning a lot.
