If you can...first thing tomorrow call your bank and tell them to hold all electronic checks. Don't ever give that info over the phone ..especially to a collection agency...and especially to one with a rep as bad as these garbage diggers. From what I understand CAMCO tries to collect outdated debts (i.e. those that are past SOL and credit reporting time frames)There is no reason in hell to pay them if this is true. Think about it, $148 to settle a $1500 debt? That should tell you about how collectable they think it is.
