The judgment should come off your credit report. Also, depending on the laws of your state, it may be too late for the judgment creditor (the plaintiff) to enforce that judgment, i.e. use the judgment to lien your property, garnish your wages, etc.

However, the judgment itself is a decree from a court. It is that court saying that you owe the plaintiff so much money. The decree will never be erased unless it is satisfied, or unless it is vacated or overruled by a higher court (and it is too late to do that now except for some very specific reasons).

You still have a "legal" obligation to pay it, even if nobody can make you pay it.

(and I'm not saying that they can't enforce it, just that because its so old they might not be able to--it would depend on the laws of your state.)
