If they refuse to sign, send it RRR to their Registered Agent or corporate secretary. If their RA repeatedly refuses to sign RRRs, they open themselves to a world of hurt...potentially losing their corporate charters.

Check with the Secretary of State's office in your state first (either call or check the SoS's website), then if that doesn't give any info, try the SoS in the state where they are contacting you from. Somewhere they will be listed and have a registered agent listed with a Secretary of State.

Or try all 50 states if you still can't find it.
