No, I've never communicated with them and had no intention to even acknowledge them at all until they filed suit. That was before I found this site or even really researched any of the consumer protection laws. This letter that they sent post court filings looks a little desperate to me. I filed my answer on the 5th, the day before it was due and I have the rr for the copy of the answer that I sent to them. If I'm correct, they only have two options: 1, continue with their case which they will likely lose, or 2, file to dismiss. I'm sure they will ask to dismiss without prejudice. I wonder if I can go to the judge after that and change it to dismissed with prejudice. I only requested in my answer that I wanted it dismissed. I guess I should have specified, but as long as this goes away, I'll be happy.
